Solid rocking early reggae from one of my favourite reggae singers. Nice instrumental organ tune on flip. Heavily played, therefore constant background noise.

Gospel session with the preacher Beenie Man! Straight mix works best for playing out but the organ mix is a peach in its own right. Did this come out before or after he went to Nashville to do his country album?
Good album from 1978. UK original.

Byron Lee produced album. Check the soulful "What Can I Tell Her". Original pressing.
Reggae/soul/ from Barbados. Soulful cover of "Heaven must be missing an angel".

Nice softer soulful reggae in the same style as Toots. Backed by The Now Generation.
Great album packed with cassics more or less althrough. My favorites are the rootsy "Righteous Works" and the funkier version of his tune "None shall escape the judgement" that Johnny Clarke made a classic cover of.

Digital tracks produced by Sir Niney float underneath the blessed voices of Gregory Isaacs & Ken Boothe respectively. Great 12 from this label that is apparently a collaboration between respected camps Basic Channel and Honest Jon's.
With the wellknown titletrack of course but better for me are the raw, funky "The Change" that wouldn't sound of place at a Soul/jazz compilation. "You're the one" is also a great funk/reggae tune covering a Little Sister track.
"Liquidator" killer reggae/funk classic. Uk original in top shape with record number TBL 104. Minimal tear on front cover.
Nice soulful rocksteady by this sold group. Reissue.
Reissue of a groovy rocksteady classic from the Heptones.
