Reissue of amazing and bloody rare LP. "Odysseus" is such a killer jazz dance tune but the whole album is extraordinary and one of the best jazz pieces from Europe as I see it.


TUBBY HAYES & THE JAZZ COURIERS FEATURING RONNIE SCOTT - TEMPO
High quality Japanese reissue of this extremely rare English jazz jewel. This is a very beautiful album from start to end with the track "Through the night roared the overland express" as my favorite.


VARIOUS - NIGERIA DISCO FUNK SPECIAL
I love the previous Soundway comps (don't we all?) but this still slayed me: holy s--t, how hot can grooves get? Check the Sahara All Stars track and tell me what you think. Rest ain't half bad either. Get this today.


JAMES PANTS - WE'RE THROUGH
Really fresh feel to this EP and certainly not what you'd expect from Stones Throw. "We're through" is a disco chugger with quirky synths in vocal and instr versions. Flip for 3 sparse house-not-house tracks, all really worthwhile. Do yourself a favour and check this.


REBIRTH - LOVE ISSUE
Good to see this group back again. "Love issue" doesn't disappoint, a modern soul/jazz/funk groove of the highest calibre, flipped with boogie track "Shake it" and a Domu remix.


VELBEN - FORMLESS
Laidback soul LP from Finland with a Detroit vibe across the 8 cuts. Think Dwele singing along to Stevie Wonder on a Friday morning and you're getting there. "Better dayz", "Kings & queens" & "Stay down" are good starters.
