Rare private pressed LP from 1970 by this unique artist. As good as the "Black christ of the Andes" LP. "Praise the lord" is my favorite in a lovely spiritual funk/jazz style. This is not the same version as on the "Black christ..." album. "Creed" is a funky jazz tune that starts with a break. "Turn aside from evil holy, holy, holy" is great bossa jazz tune and "The world" strong vocal jazz which I think has been comped. Cover has small damage/stain on lower right, otherwise it's a beautiful copy. US original without lyric insert. Cover has faint wear, two small tape marks by the top seam and what looks like a tiny accidental pen mark on front. Record mainly has soft marks and plays well with very light background noise, but one mark on side two causes occasional light ticks.

UK first pressing of the Us original at Dee Gee. This is Milt Jackson debut and came out 1952 together with John Lewis, Ray Brown Al Jones. Record is in great shape, one side plays fine. The other has a long but soft scratch that cause a few light ticks and a little crackle but nothing major. Cover has light miscoloration, wear, lamintaion issues around opening seam and tear on the flipback on the backside. Record number LZC 14006.
